Seeking Electrical Service Manager for Mechanical Contractor in Farmington, MI

The Electrical Service Manager will be responsible for the following:

• Be the lead manager for all electrical service work provided to customers
• Develop electrical service work business opportunities and drive the receipt of service work awards from current and prospective customers
• Complete accurate estimates for non-time & material electrical service work
• Create and track budgets for non-time & material electrical service work
• Create, track and report on project schedules
• Coordinate all aspects of the company’s execution of electrical services work, including coordinating supervision, labor, and subcontractors, ordering materials, and overseeing any applicable project logistics
• Attend company staff meetings for coordination with other company divisions
• Attend project meetings for coordination with other trades/contractors as required by the project
• Be on call to manage and coordinate emergency callouts during business hours, afterhours, on weekends and holidays

The Electrical Service Manager will possess the following qualifications:

• Holds a valid and current Master Electrician License issued by the State of Michigan
• Holds a valid and current Electrical Contractor License issued by the State of Michigan
• Proficient at managing electrical contracting service work and projects, estimating, reading blueprints and technical specifications, managing a team of electricians and working with other trades to complete work as necessary
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in construction project management and/or foreman roles
• Viewpoint Construction Software (a.k.a. Spectrum) experience valued, but not required
• AIA Billing experience valued, but not required
