My client is growing their TL, expedited and dedicated business and is currently seeking a highly-motivated individual to join the Recruiting Team. This position would be in direct support of Operations and Safety in carrying out recruiting responsibilities that follow legal guidelines and DOT compliance. They’re looking for individuals who have a minimum of 2 years’ transportation recruiting experience as well as demonstrated ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment. Having OTR driver contacts is required. This is a base ($50,000-70,000) plus commission (drivers hired) opportunity.

• Source, contact, qualify and interview high volumes of candidates to meet monthly quota for number of OTR drivers hired
• Work closely with prospective candidates to complete all requirements for employment consideration from first contact through orientation and on-boarding
• Improve driver retention and safety standards
• Maintain current knowledge of transportation laws, DOT regulations, and company hiring criteria, as well as maintaining and promoting company safety goals
• Using relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards
• Prospecting job boards and leads from multiple sources
• Social Media marketing interaction
• Driver following required
