Claims Examiner

Reputable company seeks to hire an experienced Claims Examiner to add to their team!

Qualified candidate must have at least 4-7 years claims experience.

Must have experience with large loss, complex claims.   Must have strong commercial auto experience required as well as casualty.  Must have experience with large exposure $1mil plus.

Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

• Contact all involved in the loss to obtain statements, proof of losses, witnesses.
• Conduct timely coverage analysis & communication with insured based on policy information, facts & allegations.
• Utilize decision making skills to analyze the claims exposure, determine proper course of action to appropriately settle claim.
• Investigate each claim by contacting all appropriate parties to determine liability, damages, and contribution potential.
• Identify & verify extent of reported & potential injury or property damage by obtaining & reviewing records & damages documentation.
• Negotiate disposition of claims with insured, claimants or legal representatives.
• Maintain claim files & document claim file activities using established procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure file quality.

This is a full time, permanent position.   Benefits, PTO offered.  In office or remote.  Must have FL 620 license.

Location:  Tampa, FL or Remote

Salary: $65,000 - $75,000
